Go to our YouTube page and social media on Facebook to see many of our live performances.
We play soul, funk and pop favourites, from classics of the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s to modern dance tracks, with ska and reggae in the mix. Our repertoire includes Superstition by Stevie Wonder, Mercy by Duffy and Valerie by Amy Winehouse — familiar songs to get your guests dancing.
It normally takes us around an hour and a half to set up all our equipment and to sound-check. It’s worth making the venue aware of this in advance, to avoid any confusion on the day itself.
We offer tailored packages, so the number and length of live sets depend on your event. Tell us about your plans and timings, and we’ll agree the performance details with you as part of your quote. We can also discuss instrumental music for drinks, dinner or guest arrivals.
We’d love to discuss your first-dance song. Let us know when you enquire so we have time to arrange and rehearse it. If a song isn’t suited to our live line-up, we’ll agree an alternative with you, such as playing the original recording through our PA.
We love guests joining in from the dance floor. If you’d like someone to sing with the band using our microphones, please arrange it with us beforehand so we can prepare.
You are welcome to use our microphones and PA system for your speeches once we have set up our equipment. However please be aware that we do not routinely use radio mics in our live set up; if you need them, please let us know in advance.
Recorded music options depend on your Bronze, Silver or Gold package. Silver includes, if required, 30 minutes of recorded music during the interval and 30 minutes afterwards. Gold includes 30 minutes of recorded music during the interval, plus 30 minutes before the first live set and up to 1 hour afterwards if required. You can also add an Extended Playlist of recorded music from £200 per hour.
Most of our bookings are in Kent (where we’re based) but we often travel further afield. Just drop us a line and we’ll quickly let you know if your event location would be feasible for us.
We normally dress smartly for weddings and events. If you have a dress code or a decade theme in mind, let us know when you enquire and we’ll discuss what works for your celebration.
We ideally need a stage area of 5 x 3 metres and a minimum of two electrical sockets. We would also require access to the playing area at least 1½ hours prior to the event – to set up our gear and sound check. Lastly we would be grateful for a room to get changed in (your venue should be happy to provide this free of charge) and some food (we normally eat from the buffet but a round of sandwiches would be perfectly fine too).
Your quote depends on the date, location, timings and performance requirements. Tell us about your plans and we’ll send a no-obligation quote. You book directly with the band, so there are no agency fees.
If you have questions we haven’t answered here then please get in touch. It doesn’t matter how trivial they may seem – if they’re important to you, they’re important to us. After all, it’s your event so it’s only natural you want to prepare thoroughly so that everything runs smoothly on the day.
